The United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) met in Japan this week to release the most comprehensive assessment to date on the impacts of climate change on the world. The conclusion of this assessment is that the impacts of global warming are likely to be severe, pervasive and irreversible.

Nobody on this planet is going to be untouched by the impacts of climate change, IPCC Chairman Rajendra Pachauri told journalists at a news conference in Yokohama. These are multi-billion dollar events that the rich are going to have to pay for and there’s a limit to what they can pay.

With two fifth's of the World’s Energy consumed in construction today the need for low-carbon construction solutions has never been greater. CRUPE is leading the way in low-carbon construction solutions using low-energy manufacturing and gypsum based materials which are high on natural and recycled content and low on high-energy / chemically bound materials and production. The CRUPE ECO-SYSTEM minimises materials and energy used in construction and maximises efficiency and performance creating buildings which are not only monolithic and energy efficient but also highly resistive to fire, noise, earthquake and heavy weather. CRUPE is leading the way in minimising the impact of construction in a changing world.
