CRUPE in partnership with Bauten, a Uruguayan construction company, have won the bid to construct social homes for the local Government in the city of Cannelones in Uruguay.  This first phase of 56 homes is being financed by the United Nations Development Program and construction started in November.  The first 56 homes are expected to be completed by the middle of next year and it is expected that the UNDP will release first phases of this project in 2015. The light steel frame sets are being produced by CRUPE at its factory in Pando north of Montevideo and spraying of the CRUPE mixes to form the walls and closed homes will commence in the new year.
